8:27 a.m.
I woke up once last night to take painkillers. Then I woke up again at 7:40. I was behind in my painkillers, so this was definitely the worst pain I have felt so far. My left foot likes to throb and exert a warm, outward pushing pressure from within the toe. Just excruciating this morning. I would say an 8 out of 10.
I feel like now the pain has at least stabilized around an uncomfortable 6, but at least it is not an 8. I have some ice on my ankles in hope that it will cool the blood entering my feet. Less warmth = less weird sensations = less pain. Oh yeah. How's that for thinking? (I actually found that on the Internet). I'd like to fall back asleep, but I don't think that's going to happen for a while. God bless my mom for being there this morning.
11:17 a.m.
Woke up a short while ago from another drug induced nap. I'm debating on dragging myself to the bathroom. I have given up on the crutches, as they hurt too much and it takes 2 other people to watch me. At least when I drag myself, I don't have to worry myself or anyone else about me falling.
Kind of bored, but that is to be expected. Maybe I will do some heavy weight training with my arms, so I will have something to do, and so my babe will have something to look at during Spring Break.

I finally got back into bed after eating dinner with my family. This was rough, as I had to have my feet up the entire time. Eating with everyone was very pleasant, and it took my mind off of the pain.
Jessica has been here for a few hours, and I think I have bored her to death. This is the best my feet have felt so far, just laying here blogging about my day. I guess I missed the melting of the last bits of snow. I'm kind of depressed about not being able to go outside and enjoy the nice weather, but maybe by the end of the week that will change.
First post-op appointment is Friday! Hopefully I will be able to get some good pictures of my feet. I really want to see them!

Wow, it has been a long day. I had a lot of visitors a while ago, but the house is mostly cleaned out, and I am settling in for the night. My feet feel much better now than they did earlier (down to a 3 from an 8), but I'm scared of what tonight has in store for me. I can only hope and pray that it goes well.
I get to start my homework tomorrow! Welcome to the story of my life! Goodnight all!
